Thunder Team Accomplishments
GU-16 Gold Team - Since returning from high school season, the GU-16 Gold team has played in 2 college showcases. The first, the Las Vegas Players Showcase, was held from March 19-21. They placed 2nd out of 39 teams and won all 4 games without giving up a goal. For the second tournament, the Nomads Coaches Showcase, from March 27-29, the team was placed in the Premier Bracket. The team advanced to the semi-finals before losing in PKs. Once again, they did not give up a goal for the entire tournament. Way to go girls!! |
