Palmdale Thunder SC was first founded in 1978 in Simi Valley as Simi Valley Thunder. In 1995, Thunder Soccer joined with Palmdale Soccer Club to form what is now Palmdale Thunder SC. Predominately based in the Antelope Valley, Thunder is comprised of over 20 teams and supports over 300 competitive players, making it one of the biggest clubs in the valley. Our teams range from U-9 to U-19 boys and girls. Thunder’s goal is to provide the players with history, knowledge, reasoning, and excitement for the competitive sport of soccer. The club also emphasizes the importance of personal, academic, and future goals.

There are many competitive soccer clubs throughout the Untied States. For a club to be recognized is a feat in itself. A club must function as a whole in order to be noticed and respected. Thunder has been dedicated to succeeding and maintaining its legacy. Its various league and tournament triumphs have reinforced the club’s name. Thunder continues to be a functional club because of its exceptional coaching, efficient training, and organization the club provides. As testament of the club’s commitment and enthusiasm for its players, it has aided in the placement of numerous players in top universities across the nation.
